I have 22 years of nursing experience. I worked at Sharp Healthcare for as a Registered Nurse/Clinical the Medical/Surgical: Orthopedic unit. I started my career at Sharp Knollwod in October 1989 as a Nursing Assistant. In addition, I started my teaching career at San Diego City College as an Adjunct Professor in 2000 to current as a Professor in Nursing. This experience has enhanced my ability to be a strong advocate for students to learn the process of quality patient care as well as assisting the students to learn how to organize their information, in order to provide safe and quality care to patients based on the nursing progress.
