The Advisors Circle

The Advisors Circle consists of advisors of each of the clubs. The Advisors share information and work together to enhance student leadership development.

Club Orientation

The Office of Student Affairs offers an orientation for new and continuing clubs and organizations for clubs and their advisors. The orientation contains a lot of useful information to help inform them about resources on campus, and policies which may impact them. It is also a great way to meet other club leaders on campus.

CLUB CITY: City College Student Affairs Club Leadership Development series

We also invite student clubs to participate in workshops offered throughout the year in a program called CLUB CITY. Through various programs, student organizations learn the basics of how to run a meeting, event planning and much more, as part of the CLUB CITY Leadership Development series. All students are encouraged to attend these sessions.

Leadership Development Class : Political Science 277D

This course is designed to give the students an experiential understanding of the fundamentals of politics through lecture and practical knowledge gained in leadership and Student Government. This class is primarily focused on students in student government, with some emphasis on club leadership as well through the ICC. CSU transferrable.

AS Open Houses

At the beginning of the semester, the AS offers an open house to the general public, to share some of the leadership opportunities available for new and continuing students as part of Welcome Week.

AS Trainings

If you do not have any experience, do not worry. We offer trainings, conferences, offered throughout the year help you enhance your leadership skills.
