Knights Fall to De Anza, 12-9, in Championship Match

The Knights came into the California Community College Athletic Association championship riding a 19-match win streak and looking to get a second straight state title, but De Anza College stood in the way as the Dons defeated SDCC, 12-9, to win their first CCCAA state championship.

It was the Knights' fifth trip to title match, but the first time in history that they came away without the championship trophy. The Knights took home the hardware in 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2012, all under Head Coach Son Nguyen.
