Knights Off to Best Start Since 2010 After Sweeping IVC


The Knights completed a series sweep of Imperial Valley on Saturday with an 11-4 victory. The Knights are now 10-5 overall and 3-0 to start the PCAC season.

Knights Edge Long Beach, 11-10, for 7th Win In A Row


Sophomore center fielder Matt Bagdasar went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run to help the Knights earn their seventh straight win, 11-10, over Long Beach City on Saturday. The Knights blew a 7-run lead, but Joey Wozniak, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, came around to score the winning run in the seventh inning.

Knights Get Past Cypress, 6-4, For 4th Straight Win


The Knights opened the 2018 season with back-to-back losses to Saddleback, but they have bounced back with four consecutive wins after defeating Cypress, 6-4, on Tuesday afternoon.

Knights Edge Southwestern, 4-3


The Knights ended Southwestern's 11-game win streak with a 4-3 victory over the Jaguars on Thursday to improve to 16-16 overall and 10-10 in the PCAC.

As a pinch hitter in the bottom of the eighth, Brendan Gerbert grounded into a fielder's choice that produced the go-ahead run to give the Knights a 7-6 home victory over College of the Desert on Saturday afternoon.

Lopez Records Complete Game in 5-2 Win Over No.1 Saddleback


Third time was the charm for the Knights against Saddleback as City defeated the Gauchos, 5-2, on Friday at Morley Field. Frank Lopez pitched a complete game and helped his own cause by going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run as the lead-off hitter.

Knights Hang On for 5-4 Win Over West L.A.


The Knights edged West L.A., 5-4, on Tuesday to win their third consecutive game and improve to 3-3 on the season. Frank Lopez, who played three positions, went 3-for-4 with two runs and earned the win. Freshman right fielder Cole Flint went 2-for-4 with two RBI and scored what turned out to be the winning run.

Knights Shutout Compton 2-0 For 1st Win of 2017


The San Diego City College baseball team earned its first victory of the new season with a 2-0 home shutout of Compton on Saturday. The Knights improved to 1-3 after dropping the first three games of the season to the Saddleback Gauchos, who are ranked No. 2 in Southern California, and the Long Beach Vikings, who are ranked No. 15 in Southern California.

Tyler Flores, Frank Lopez Named to All-PCAC 1st Team


San Diego City College baseball players Tyler Flores and Frank Lopez were selected to the All-Pacific Coast Athletic Conference first team, while Scott Martinez, John Salda, Anthony Warneke, Ethan Payson, and Garrett Yocum all earned honorable mention by the conference.
