    Knights Lose 2-Goal Lead, Fall to LBCC 5-3


    The opening game of the 2015 season started off great with the Knights taking an early 2-0 lead, but Long Beach had a strong second half and went on to defeat SDCC, 5-3.

    Knights Extend Undefeated Streak to 7 With Win Over Mesa


    The Knights went winless in their first eight games of the season, but they have turned things around. After earning a 1-0 home win against Mesa on Tuesday, the Knights have now gone seven games without a loss. The Knights are 5-0-2 in that span and currently sit in second place in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference, one point behind MiraCosta with four PCAC matches remaining.

    Knights Play Long Beach to 0-0 Tie After Losing Leading Scorer


    The San Diego City College men's soccer team played the final 74 minutes down a man after their leading scorer, Daniel Herrera, was sent off with a straight red card in the 16th minute, but they were able fight off a tough Long Beach team and held on to the 0-0 draw.

    Knights To Play Santa Ana in 1st Round of Playoffs


    The Knights, who are seeded #14, will travel to play the #3-seeded Santa Ana Dons in the first round of the California Community College Athletic Association Regional Playoffs on Saturday, November 23 at 2 p.m. It is the fourth consecutive year that the Knights have qualified for the postseason and the ninth time in the last 10 years.

    Knights Extend Unbeaten Streak to Nine


    The Knights were playing their third game in five days, but fatigue didn't seem to be a factor on Tuesday as they managed to come away with a 2-1 road victory over Mira Costa. The win extended the Knights' unbeaten streak to nine games. They have recorded six wins during the streak.

    Knights Get A 2-2 Result At Palomar


    The Knights, who were winners of two straight coming into Tuesday's match, played Palomar to a 2-2 tie in the first meeting of the season between the teams.

    Knights Set to Play Southwestern In 1st Round of CCCAA Playoffs


    The SDCC men's soccer team is playoff bound for the fourth consecutive year. The Knights finished the season with a 9-4-7 overall record and a 5-1-6 PCAC record, good for second place. The No. 11-seeded Knights will travel to Southwestern, who finished first in the PCAC, on Saturday, Nov. 17 to play the No. 6-seeded Jaguars (14-1-6, 9-0-3 PCAC) in the first round of the CCCAA playoffs. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.

    Knights Hold Off Imperial Valley for 3-1 Win


    The SDCC men's soccer team earned its second straight victory after defeating Imperial Valley, 3-1, on Friday afternoon. The win improved the Knights' overall record to 8-4-6 and their conference record to 5-1-5.

    Oscar Vazquez Named PCAC Athlete of the Week


    SDCC men's soccer goalkeeper Oscar Vazquez was selected as Men's Athlete of the Week by the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference for the week ending on October 28. Vazquez, a sophomore out of Patrick Henry High School, had 14 saves in a shutout draw against Mira Costa last Friday and helped the Knights extend their streak of no losses to seven games.

    Knights Rout Mesa, 7-0


    The SDCC men's soccer teams scored early and often as they cruised to a 7-0 home victory over PCAC rival Mesa on Tuesday afternoon. The win improved the Knights' record to 6-4-5 overall and 3-1-4 in PCAC play.
