Knights Falter in 5th Set, Lose 3-2 To MiraCosta


For the third straight home match, the Knights forced a fifth set after falling behind, but Friday's match did not end in victory like the previous two matches did as MiraCosta held on for the 3-2 (25-19, 25-23, 22-25, 13-25, 18-16) win.

The latest California Community College Women's Volleyball Coaches Association rankings were released on Monday and the Knights currently sit at No. 23. It's the first time this season that the Knights have cracked the top 25.

Knights Stay Undefeated in PCAC With 3-2 Win Over Southwestern


The Knights found themselves on the brink of a loss for the second straight Friday, but once again, they rallied back after being down, 1-2, to defeat Southwestern (0-9, 0-4 PCAC) in five sets (25-11, 24-26, 22-25, 26-24, 15-6).

Knights Get 2nd Place At Own Tournament


The Knights made it to the final of the San Diego City College Women's Volleyball Tournament where they lost to Pima College, a highly ranked team from Arizona. Thirteen teams from California and Arizona participated in the 10th annual tournament.

Knights Rally Back From 0-2 To Beat MSJC in Five


The San Diego City women’s volleyball team fell behind, 2-0, to Mt. San Jacinto, but made a thrilling comeback and handed the Eagles their first loss to a California team. Sets scores were 21-25, 15-25, 25-21, 26-24 and 15-9.

Knights Defeat IVC, 3-1, in PCAC Opener


Sophomore outside hitter Karlee Troeh recorded a season-high 29 kills in the Knights' 3-1 (25-23, 26-28, 25-21, 25-14) victory at Imperial Valley on Wednesday afternoon. The win was the Knights' seventh straight over IVC and it improved the Knights' record to 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference.

Coach Pratte Becomes Official Member of the San Diego Rotary Club


This past week, San Diego City College men’s and women's volleyball coach Kevin Pratte became an official member of the San Diego Downtown Rotary Club. The Rotary meets once a week to discuss how to make a difference in the San Diego community and actively volunteer in the community to help make San Diego one of the finest cities to live in.

Knights Volunteer at Sand Sculpting Challenge


The San Diego City College men’s and women’s volleyball teams participated as volunteers at the U.S. Sand Sculpting Challenge, held on the "B" street pier in downtown San Diego from August 28 to September 1.

Knights Off to a 2-0 Start After Sweeping Rio Hondo


The San Diego City College women's volleyball team swept Rio Hondo in three straight sets (25-11, 25-17, and 25-12) on Friday for their second win in as many matches.

Knights Sweep Santa Ana in Season Opener


The Knights earned their eighth consecutive victory over Santa Ana on Wednesday night by sweeping the Dons, 3-0 (25-10, 25-16, 25-14), at Harry West Gymnasium. It's the third straight year that the Knights have defeated Santa Ana to open the season.
