Visit the Farm

Because of the high demand, tours are by reservation only.

People of all ages are welcome!
We accept small groups (5-9 people) and large groups (10+ people).
For large groups we ask for a donation of $10 per person.
SDCCD Faculty/Staff will not need to provide a donation for class or department tours of the farm.

To request a tour of the urban farm please send an email to with your prefered tour date and time. We do not offer tours on Sunday.

Things to consider:
  • - Close-toed shoes are REQUIRED! We suggest NOT wearing heels.
    - If it's sunny and hot, some water and a hat might keep you comfortable.
    - You are welcome to take photos!
    - Parking can be a challenge. Plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes in advance to allow yourself/group enough time to find parking.

The farm is located at San Diego City College just north of the corner of 14th and C Streets, between Saville Theater and the Learning Resource Center (LRC), below Curran Plaza.

Parking: Metered street parking is available on all of the nearby streets. Student lots have machines that provide temporary permits for a fee that are also valid for visitors. If you are faculty or staff with a permit, you can try to find parking in the lot just south of the farm. Parking is free in campus lots on the weekends.
