As of 04/2011- The programming and conceptual design phase of the project began in 11/2010 with a kick-off meeting with the Campus held on 11/16/2010. Preliminary meetings with DSA have introduced the possibility of a total building seismic upgrade and the design team is in the process of reviewing the project and possibly combining it with the D Bldg Remodel in order to avoid a total seismic upgrade. As of 04/2011 and Per District Management's request, a fault study is being done by a geotechnical engineer to determine what action will be taken. This fault study is expected to be completed by the end of 04/2011. Design and planning meetings for this project will not resume until the fault study is complete and District Management has reviewed it's findings. Please note, renovation construction on the M Bldg cannot begin until Science Bldg construction is complete.
