San Diego City College faculty and staff may borrow media from the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) media library by virtue of College membership in the SDICCCLRC Consortium (a.k.a., the “County Consortium”). The media library is a collection of thousands of media titles to support instruction, available in VHS and DVD formats. Please be aware that some titles in this collection are not captioned.
Searching & booking via the L4U catalog
Search for titles and place an order using the L4U catalog. The booking service and delivery to campus is free, but you must set up an account (see below). All requested media is delivered to the Office of Classroom Technology Management the following Monday or Thursday morning for you to pick up on campus. You may go to the SDCOE office yourself to pick up media during their normal business hours, if that is more convenient for you.
Account Set-up
You will need to set up an account (free) to use the Consortium materials. The Consortium should be contacted directly for new user accounts and all issues regarding the circulation of their media. E-mail
