Welcome to the San Diego City College Counseling Department

Your EDUCATION PLAN, created with the help of a counselor, is your step-by-step guide to meeting Associate degree and/or transfer requirements.  Career Exploration services are available for students who are undecided on a major.  NOTE: Creating an education plan will help ensure your registration priority, which allows you to enroll in the courses you need, when you need them.

 The San Diego City College Counseling Department is an important partner with students in the education process. We provide the following valuable services to help students achieve their goals and understand the campus community and college culture:

Student scholarships available through the counseling office – There are three $500.00 scholarships (Gloria Heredia, Dr. Art Jackson, and Lemuel Lemons) sponsored by the counseling office available to students from Sept. to Dec. each year.
