Not Eligible for Online Counseling Appointments

If you answered “NO” to any of the questions on the Live E-Counseling Appointment Request Page you are not eligible for an Online Counseling appointment.  Please follow the appropriate steps below:

1.    If you are not currently taking online and/or evening classes at City College but are taking classes at one of our sister campus, Mesa or Miramar, you may be eligible for an Online Counseling appointment if space is available.  Priority for appointments is given to students taking classes at City College.  You are, however, eligible to schedule an on-campus appointment; please call the Counseling Department at 619.388.3540 or stop by building E-2 for more information.

2.    If you are a new student to City College and have not completed the Steps for Success, please visit the New Students Start Here website for information on how to complete them.

3.    If you completed courses at another college/university and you have not submitted official transcripts, please contact your previous college(s) and request official transcripts be sent to the San Diego Community College District – Transcripts Department.   Please remember that you must request an official evaluation once your transcripts have been received by the district.  If you have already submitted official transcripts but have not requested an official evaluation, call the Counseling Department at 619.388.3540 or stop by building E-2 to submit an Evaluation Request.
