The DSPS group orientation is a one to one and a half-hour presentation conducted by a DSPS counselor. Topics covered in the DSPS orientation include: DSPS eligibility requirements, district and campus programs, student services, DSPS services and accommodations, and basic enrollment and financial aid information. All Group Orientations are held in A-220

- Students may also request an individual orientation in the DSPS Offices, A 115.
• During the summer months (June,July, and August) as well as during winter break (January) all orientations are scheduled individually, Monday through Thursday, 8am-4pm. It is helpful to call the main offices at 619-388-3513 to confirm that a room is available.
• If possible, please bring in verification of your disability as well as your current Doctor or a licensed professional name, address, phone number, and fax number.
Any student who wishes to receive DSPS services will need to attend an orientation. Orientations are offered on campus throughout the semester.
Please note: Students who cannot attend a group orientation or may need adaptive software are eligible for the individual orientation in A115. Check with the DSPS offices for room availability.
