MESAdvantage Standards for Counseling:

  • Meet with counselor once per semester to review progress in major
  • Complete semester-by-semester transfer track educational plan (ed-plan)
  • Complete time management plan each semester
  • Complete StrengthsQuest assessment
  • Other counseling activities might include enrolling in one of the following programs:
      • Trio/ASPIRE
      • DSP&S
      • EOPS
      • Honors

UC Application – Important Dates and Tips

Other helpful tips:

  • UC application fee waivers available for qualified students: A UC application fee waiver (for up to four campuses) can be requested on the online application.  If the fee waiver is denied for the application, then choose to “pay by mail” and submit a College Board fee waiver appeal form or a letter, which includes the family income and the number of people supported by that income, to the address provided on the receipt.
  • For EOP students, contact ucinfo@applyUCsupport.net for a UC fee waiver form
  • Attend CSU application transfer workshop
  • Take campus tour
