If you are considering counseling for yourself or are concerned about a friend, please call us for a brief phone consultation, stop by our office to request an appointment or fill out the on-line request  form below. Someone from our office will speak with you and help identify the best way for you to get the help you need. This might include getting scheduled for short-term individual counseling through the Mental Health Counseling Center, a referral to another on-campus department, and/or referral to a community mental health provider.

Please see our home page for current hours of operation.  Most students are able to talk with a therapist within 24-48 hours of the request being made (excluding weekends, holidays, and Center or school closures).

If you are considering harming yourself or someone else or are in need of IMMEDIATE crisis counseling assistance, please call the San Diego Access & Crisis Line at 1-888-724-7240, 24 hours a day/7days a week. The professional staff at the Access and Crisis Line are not only available 24 hours a day for immediate assistance regarding a psychological emergency, but are also very skilled in locating additional counseling resources in the San Diego community that are available to you.
