New Horizons Program

If eligible, we may be able to assist you!

Students are eligible for the New Horizons Program if

  1. Enrolled in a Career/Technical Education major/certificate program and
  2. in economic need (BOGW eligible)
  3. and one of the following:
    • single parent or single pregnant woman
    • displaced homemaker
    • individual with disabilities
    • former foster youth
    • student preparing for non-traditional training
    • student with limited English proficiency

Program services can include

  • Textbook loans from lending library
  • Limited public transportation assistance
  • “One Stop” Student Academic Planner
  • “Hit the Books” study skills booklet
  • Referrals to campus and community resources
  • Non-traditional career information
  • Life skills and job search information
