Providers at Student Health Services can write prescriptions for birth control pills.  We also offer free counseling and written information and referrals for all types of birth control methods.

 Emergency Contraception - "Plan B"

"Plan B" is a medication taken to prevent pregnancy after having unprotected sex (or in the event of a slipped or broken condom).  "It should be started within 72 hours (3 days) of unprotected sex.

"Plan B" is available at Student Health Services for a fee.  It is also available over-the-counter as well as Planned Parenthood and other community clinics.
