Department Description
Earth and physical sciences, including astronomy,
chemistry,
geography,
geology, and
physics are disciplines classified as natural sciences. They
generally involve nonliving materials and the principles of fundamental
relationships and laws in the universe.
Academic Programs
The associate degrees in Physical and Earth Sciences, Astronomy,
Chemistry, Geography, Geology and Physics, require completion of the
courses listed for each degree. Additional general education and
graduation requirements for the associate degree are listed in the
