Welcome to the San Diego City College Tutorial/Learning Center!

The Tutorial/Learning Center staff and peer tutors serve San Diego City College and the Educational Complex, and are dedicated to facilitating successful learning outcomes.

The Tutoring Program was established in 1998, to provide peer tutoring to students at no cost, in the belief that student to student tutoring is a viable and advantageous tool to facilitate the learning process. Our Peer Tutors are selected for their subject knowledge, patience, and their ability to communicate and encourage students.

We are confident your tutoring experience will be a good one, and result in a positive outcome for you as your endeavor to complete your coursework.

Our mission at the Tutorial/Learning Center is to provide high quality academic support to all City and ECC College students. We believe that students and their learning experiences are of primary concern, so we are committed to preparing students in becoming independent learners, who will succeed in academics and academic skills in the collegiate setting. In addition, the Center encourages and fosters a culturally diverse and inclusive environment and develops student self esteem, confidence, and persistence.

The Tutorial/Learning center is in room R-212, located at the main floor of the library

We provide limited tutorial services during Summer session starting June 15, 2009.

Our Summer hours are Monday thru Thursday from 10 AM- 4 PM.
