Option I Units
Courses Required for the Major: 39-40
The student will select courses that conform to the CSU General Education area requirements. Refer to a Catalog.

Option II Units
Courses Required for the Major: 34-38
The student will select the core general education courses that conform to the SDCCD-UCSD Transfer Admission Guarantee (TAG) agreement. Courses taken under this agreement are guaranteed to apply toward the completion of college general education requirements at UCSD. The core requirements for general education are one year of a transferable sequence in the following areas: (a) writing, (b) the humanities, (c) the social sciences, (d) foreign language, and (e) mathematics or a natural science. The student will select courses that conform to the Inter segmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) area requirements. For specific information, see a counselor.
