The basic facts, concepts and generalizations of sociology. The scientific
study of social interaction and organization with special reference to

110 Contemporary Social Problems

Identification and analysis of present-day social problems in the United
States, with emphasis on sociological factors involved. Scientific method
of approach to and criteria for evaluating proposals for social
betterment. Transfer Credit: CSU and/or private coll/univ.; UC.
