 How To Enroll

  Three Steps to Fast, Easy Registration for
  New Students:

1.  Apply

  • Visit the Admissions Office in Room A-112 (619-388-3475) or apply online at http://studentweb.sdccd.edu
    (click on “Online Application”)
  • Important: If you've previously attended other colleges, you will need your previous college transcripts on file with City College. Please visit or call the City College Records Office (Room A-109; 619-388-3474) for more information.
     

2.  Assessment, Orientation & Counseling

  • Contact the Counseling Office to sign-up in Room A-110 or call 619-388-3540.
  • Take assessment tests to determine which Math and English classes to take first.

  • Attend a New Student Orientation: receive advising for first-semester classes, learn about City College programs and services, and receive a FREE City College catalog.

  • See a City College Counselor for help with choosing classes, educational planning, career goals and personal counseling needs.

3.  Register for Classes!

  • Register online at http://studentweb.sdccd.edu (click on “Reg-e”). See class schedules for available classes and important dates.
  • Important: You will receive an appointment to register for classes via email or U.S. mail after you apply for admission to City College.

  • Computers for student registration are available in the Admissions Office in Room A-112 and the Cafeteria in the D-Building
