Intercollegiate Athletics
Drawing from a student body of
13,000, San Diego City College offers a growing
intercollegiate sports program that features:
- 11 intercollegiate teams.
- Experienced coaches whose
talents have taken them to the Olympics and professional levels
in their sports;
- Facilities that include a
state-of-the-art fitness center; baseball, soccer, and softball
fields; a gymnasium for volleyball and badminton; tennis courts;
access to nearby Balboa Park; and a new $11 million gymnasium.
Located in the heart of one of
America's most exciting cities, San Diego City College has offered
opportunities for approximately 150 student-athletes in past years
- a number that will grow as the college nears its centennial
celebration in 2014. The cardinal-and-white City College Knights
compete in the Pacific Coast Conference.
