Son Nguyen, enters his fourth year as head coach after one season as an assistant at SDCC.  In his first two seasons as head coach, Nguyen has led the women's badminton team to a 34-0 record and three California State Championships (2006, 2007, 2008).

Son brings much experience to the program having taught and coached badminton at the high school level in San Diego and producing some of the top ranked female players in the area. He was also an assistant on last year's SDCC team.
