While at Southwestern, Gregory led the women's team to the Pacific Coast Conference championship in five straight seasons (2002-06) and also led them to two fourth place finishes at the State Championships. In addition to his bachelor's degree, Gregory has obtained his M.A. in Physical Education from Azuza Pacific University and his M.S. in Exercise Physiology from California University of Pennsylvania.

He enjoys archery, hiking, playing percussion, and spending time with his family. His philosophy is "Everyone Improves."
