Paul Greer, an assistant professor in Health and Exercise Science here at San Diego City College has a masters degree in Physical Education and 16 years coaching experience both at City College and the San Diego Track Club. A sub-4 minute miler, he starred on the San Diego State University track team where he holds the school record at 1500 meters. Paul also competed in the U.S. Olympic Trials at 1500 meters in 1992 and has a personal best time in that distance at 3:39.05. Coach Greer is the fitness center director here at City College and has coached several Pacific Coast Conference Champions and in addition his teams have regularly qualified for the Southern California Championships. Coach Greer's structured workouts ensure that runners train together to maximize their athletic potential.
