Advance to 2nd Round of Regionals
The
San Diego City College men's soccer team defeated Long
Beach College, 2-1, on November 17 in the first round of
the Southern California regional playoffs.
Pier Sarabia and Daniel
Valdez each found the back of the net in the Knights'
victory and goalkeeper Robin Gilson held Long Beach to
just one goal.

Start Conference Play With a Win
The
men's soccer team opened up its Pacific Coast Conference
schedule with a 2-0 victory over Cuyamaca. The Knights stuck
early with a goal in the fifth minute by Sergio Noriega,
assisted by Abraham Gomez. They scored again in the first half
when Jacob Mejia found the back of the net in the 40th minute.
Jose Torres assisted the goal.
