Head Coach -
Milton Hidalgo
Head
Coach Milton Hidalgo first started coaching at San Diego
City College in 1983. Under his leadership, the San Diego
City men's soccer program has won seven Pacific Coast
Conference championships. Hidalgo also has been named PCC
Coach of the Year four times, including PCC Coach of the
Year for all sports in 2006 when the Knights posted a record
of 15-1-5.
In addition to the success at SDCC, Hidalgo has led the San
Diego High School boys soccer team to five CIF championships
between 1989 and 1995. His San Diego Cavers still hold the
record for consecutive league championships with seven and
his players still own records for most career assists and
career shutouts.
Coach Milton holds his B.S. in Kinesiology from San Diego
State and his M.A. in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific
University.
Assistant
Head Coach - Mike Pellicio
Mike
Pellicio enters his second year at San Diego City College as
the first assistant to Head Coach Milton Hidalgo. Pellicio
is also the head coach of the Orange Glen High School boys
soccer program and has coached youth club teams from under-8
through under-19.
Pellicio grew up playing in San Diego for club teams with
RBYSA and Poway Vaqueros as well as representing Mt. Carmel
High School where he was named All-League his senior season.
Pellicio earned his B.S. in Political Science from Santa
Clara University where he played his freshman year. He holds
his National "C" License from the United States Soccer
Federation.
Assistant
Head Coach - Chris Tolles
ChrisTollesis
in his first year as an assistant at San Diego City
College. He is originally from New Jersey where he was an
All-State soccer player.Tolles
attended Hamilton College in Upstate New York where he was a
member of the men's soccer team. He has spent the last seven
years in San Diego and is in his thirdseason
as the head coach of the San Diego High boys soccer team.
