Diego City College's Department of Health, Exercise Science
& Athletics is located between downtown San Diego and Balboa
Park. It is easily reached via Highways 163 and 5. The school
also is easily reached via public transportation, with the San
Diego City College trolley stop located on 12th Avenue and a
bus stop located on Park Boulevard across from the P.E./Gym
Building. Transit bus schedules are available by calling 619-233-3004.
Parking is available in student lots on campus from noon to
6 p.m. daily and all day Saturday. No permits are needed. Additional
free parking is available at the former Balboa Naval Hospital
at Park Boulevard and Presidents Way.

Facilities
at San Diego City College's Department of Health, Exercise Science
& Athletics feature a state-of-the-art fitness center with
the latest weight-training and cardio-vascular equipment.
Other
facilities include a Physical Education/Gym Building that houses
many of the classes for the department. It also serves as home
for the department's basketball, volleyball and badminton teams. Also, baseball,
soccer, and softball fields are located nearby, as are miles
of trails for the men's and women's cross country teams in adjacent
Balboa Park.
