AcuSport Health Center Their practitioners “offer a unique combination of eastern and western, orthopedic and internal medicines including acupuncture, orthopedic rehabilitation, allergy elimination, sports medicine, nutrition, herbology, and therapeutic massage to create a truly integrated appraoch to the healing arts.”

Alternative Healing Network -- An organization “dedicated to promoting the use of integrative healing arts and improving their accessibility in under-served communities. The Alternative Healing Network works to integrate Western health practices with Eastern or other "alternative" modalities for use in community health centers and hospitals alike.”

California Center for Sustainable Energy Their mission is “to foster public policies and provide programs, services, information and forums that facilitate the adoption of clean, reliable, renewable, sustainable, and efficient energy technologies and practices.”

California Native Plant Society -- “The California Native Plant Society is a statewide nonprofit organization seeking to increase understanding and appreciation of California's native plants and to preserve them in their natural habitat through scientific activities, education, conservation, and restoration.”

EDCO -- “The EDCO family of companies specialize in offering integrated, user-friendly waste removal and recycling programs to serve residential homes, multi-family properties, commercial businesses, multi-tenant buildings, industrial centers, construction sites, and community events.”

Environmental Health Coalition The Environmental Health Coalition is dedicated to achieving environmental and social justice. The EHC “organize and advocate to protect public health and the environment threatened by toxic pollution. EHC supports broad efforts that create a just society which foster a healthy and sustainable quality of life.”

Floresta USA -- “Floresta, a Christian nonprofit organization, reverses deforestation and poverty in the world, by transforming the lives of the rural poor. 

Green Earth Recycling -- “Green Earth Recycling sprouted from California Metals/All Computer Surplus, a 28 year-old family-owned and -operated diversified recycling firm located east of San Diego in El Cajon, California. They handle e-waste, beverage containers, and non-ferrous scrap metal. The company picks up e-waste from businesses and guarantees 100% recycling with complete data destruction.

Ocean Beach People's Organic Food Market -- “Originally a worker's collective, the cooperative has grown to include 6000 feet of retail space and more than 8000 member/owners. The Co-op offers an extensive selection of organic produce, grocery, dairy, and bulk foods and herbs, as well as vitamins and homeopathics, cruelty-free bodycare, and aromatherapy products.

Point Loma Nazarene University One of the Core Values in the mission for the university is the institutional value for the “Stewardship of Resources.” PLNU has an excellent reputation for their recycling and composting programs.

Rethreads -- “Rethreads' mission is to provide functional promotional products that are environmentally conscious and reduce their impact on the planet.”

San Diego Coastkeeper -- “San Diego Coastkeeper protects the region’s bays, beaches, watersheds and ocean for the people and wildlife that depend on them. (San Diego Coastkeeper) balances community outreach, education, and advocacy to promote stewardship of clean water and a healthy coastal ecosystem.

San Diego County Water Authority -- “As a water wholesaler, the San Diego County Water Authority's mission is to provide a safe and reliable supply of water to its 24 member agencies in the San Diego region.” Do your part to save 20 gallons of water per person per day. Take the 20 gallon challenge today!

SDG&E -- “SDG&E addresses environmental issues in a variety of ways. From encouraging green building design practices through the Sustainable Communities Program, to evaluating electric transportation alternatives for the future through the Clean Transportation Program, SDG&E provides a number of services and programs designed with a sustainable and eco-friendly future in mind.” This year, SDG&E will be running a light bulb exchange at the Earth Fair. In addition, the Clean Transportation Program will have an electric car on display.

San Diego Zoo -- “The Zoological Society of San Diego is a conservation, education, and recreation organization dedicated to the reproduction, protection, and exhibition of animals, plants, and their habitats.

Sierra Club, San Diego Chapter -- “Working under an adopted set of conservation priorities, this group keeps vigil over conservation issues & campaigns and maintains liaisons with government agencies and non-government organizations in San Diego and Imperial counties.”

Solana Center for Environmental Innovation -- The Solana Center for Environmental Innovation (SCEI) was founded in 1983. Once a pioneer in curbside recycling, the SCEI “focus our energies on community outreach, public education and creating new markets for recycled products.

USAgainU'SAgain is a company that collects clothing and shoes for reuse and recycling.

Zero Waste San Diego -- “Zero Waste San Diego’s mission is to create, promote and implement programs that maximize management and conservation of resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to global warming, and persuade citizens, businesses, and governments in the San Diego County region to adopt a zero waste philosophy.

Akeena Solar -- “Akeena Solar is a proven leader in the design and integration of solar power systems for residential and commercial customers.” Their team of workers “are also dedicated environmentalists who take pride in exceeding customer expectations and protecting the environment.”

California Native Plant Society -- “The mission of the California Native Plant Society is to increase understanding and appreciation of California's native plants and to conserve them and their natural habitats through education, science, advocacy, horticulture and land stewardship.”  

Ecoclean Services A family owned San Diego business “proud to be helping San Diegans rid their homes and businesses of unwanted pollutants, using cleaning products that contain no harsh chemicals, are biodegradable and support no animal testing.” Ecoclean offers “full-service cleaning for both commercial buildings and residential homes.”

Eco Expressions -- “Eco Expressions is a nature writing program for youth. Healthy lifestyles are encouraged through outdoor exploration, place-based learning, and creative writing. Students learn to respect all life, and develop critical thinking and self-reflection.” 

Ecolife Foundation -- “Ecolife Foundation is a 501c3 organization providing biologically sustainable water, food & shelter to communities, through education and outreach.”

Hubbell & Hubbell A team that is “a unique family-owned firm committed to integrating nature-centered art and architecture in environmentally friendly private and public spaces. Architect Drew Hubbell has pioneered the permitting of straw bales as a building material in the city and county of San Diego. He is committed to extending his father's artistic respect for nature into the practicalities of building materials, practices and processes.”  

Project Wildlife -- “A non-profit volunteer organization servicing all of San Diego County. Project Wildlife provides emergency first aid, long term treatment, veterinary care, rehabilitative therapy, and proper rearing of wildlife orphans.”

Yoganic Studio -- The mission of the studio is to provide a haven for peace, healing, and individual empowerment by exploration of our interpersonal dimensions through body & breath. All the elements of [their] studio are conciously chosen, made with the highest quality, nontoxic, green building materials, from the paint to the yoga props.
