California State University Dominguez Hills
2003 MSN, California State University Dominguez Hills I have many years
of nursing experience including Adult and Pediatric Oncology, L/D, NICU
(with transport), and IV therapist.
17 years as a Home Health/Home
Infusion nurse.
Previous experience as Director of Nursing, and Quality Assurance
Director for Home Infusion companies.
PICC and Chemo cert.
I started teaching nursing in 1999 for several Community colleges and
at the University level. Two years as a Vocational Nursing program
director. I wrote the curriculum and achieved state approval to start
the LVN program for SDCC.
I received my RN license when I
was 20 years old. I have had many wonderful life experiences as a nurse
and have never regretted my career choice. I enjoy sharing my "nurse
stories" with my students.
