English 101 focuses on global awareness and
includes reading They Poured Fire on us From the Sky, an autobiography
told from the perspective of three "lost boys" from Sudan.
Humanities 101:
While exploring the civilizations of the past we examine
those things that we share in common with ancient cultures and we look
closely at how our modern world is shaped by our cultural heritage. The
course emphasizes global awareness and tolerance.
