Professional Background:
Mr. Ramsey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business
Administration from California
State
University,
Long Beach, and a Master of Science degree in
Education with an emphasis in Counseling from
National
University,
San Diego. Mr. Ramsey’s professional
experience includes over twenty-three years in a variety of
leadership positions with the San Diego Community College District.
He is currently serving as the Director of Extended Opportunities
Programs and Services (EOPS) with
San Diego City
College. Most recently, he successfully
served for eighteen months as
City
College’s Interim Vice
President of Student Services. Formerly, he served as Administrator
for Extended Studies, Assistant to the President, Interim Dean of
Student Affairs, and Interim Associate Dean of Student Development
with San Diego City College, Student Services and Financial Aid
Director with American College of Paramedical Arts and Sciences, Los
Angeles, and Financial Aid Officer with Telco Institute, Los
Angeles.
