Professional Background:
Welcome to Nursing
Education at San Diego City College. My name is Sue Simpson and I have
been on faculty here at City since September of 1999. My entry level to
practice was as a Diploma Graduate from Saskatchewan, Canada. I earned
my BSN from CSU Dominguez Hills and my MSN from the University of
Phoenix. My professional Nursing experience includes Obstetrics,
Pediatrics, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, CVICU, and Interventional
Radiology. I remain an active clinician in Radiology and ICU, teach
Advanced Cardiac Life Support as
well I am a full time faculty member of San Diego City College and an
adjunct faculty member at National University. I am committed to the
success of my students and I am available to speak to you individually,
by appointment, as needed to ensure adequate understanding and to offer
