Course Reserves
Course Reserves are assigned materials, such as textbooks, which are made available by instructors for use in the Library or for special loan periods. Reserve materials may include supplemental class readings, photocopied articles, videos and audio files, and sample tests.
To find course reserves, go the the Library's online catalog and click the red tab for Course Reserves. You will need to write down the call number for the item and take it to the Circulation Center desk for a staff member to find the book.
If you need assistance finding reserve materials, please ask a librarian at the Information Center desk.
Interlibrary Loan
If the Library catalog indicates that an item you need is shelved in the circulating collections at Mesa or Miramar College libraries, our interLibrary loan service will retrieve the materials upon your request and hold them for you to pick up at City College Library.
To request materials, first go to the Information Center desk on the main level of the Learning Resource Center (Library). A librarian will assist you in filling out a form that you will then take to the Circulation Center for processing. You will be notified via telephone when your materials are ready to be picked up at City College Library. The process may take up to three working days, so please plan accordingly.
Students are limited to borrowing up to three interLibrary loan items at a time. You must return at least one item before you can request another interLibrary loan item.
