The Library has five major collections, which may be searched via our catalog:
Circulating Materials: these items may be checked out for a specific loan period. They are located on the upper level of the LRC.
Reference Materials: these include dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases, and special items. They may not be checked out. They are located on the entrance level of the LRC.
Print Periodicals: these include newspapers, magazines, and journals. They are located on the entrance level of the LRC.
Reserve Materials: a special collection of items that instructors bring in for their students to check out, often including textbooks. You will need the call number of the item in order to ask for it at the Circulation Desk, which is located on the entrance level of the LRC.
Electronic Materials: these include online databases and electronic books. Audiovisual materials, such as DVDs, VHS tapes and audiocassettes are housed in the Multimedia Center on the lower level of the LRC.
