These items are physically housed and maintained by the San Diego County Office of Education. Please contact your institution's Interlibrary Loan or Film Booking department for borrowing policies and delivery schedules.
The
Ask Us Now service is a 24-hour online reference chat service available to
faculty, staff, and students of member libraries. The service is subscribed
through OCLC, and it is a global effort of networked librarians. Each member
library pays a fee and is contracted to contribute two hours per week of service
to the global cooperative. Library users at each member institution can
access the service through a link on their library's web site.
The Consortium used to subscribe to the now-defunct PBS Video Database of America's History and Culture. However, you can still search for PBS videos using the PBS VideoIndex Online. The database makes it easy to find PBS video clips of relevance to your instruction. And you can enrich your lectures with maps, graphics, lesson plans, video clips and more!
The videotapes described in this database are physically housed at the San Diego Office of Education with the rest of the Consortium's collection; the same borrowing and delivery schedules apply. See your InterLibrary Loan or Film Booking department for details.
