Will there be people to help me through the program when I need it?

Yes. There will be tutoring available on-campus both in the tutorial center and the math center. The faculty will also be available for consultation.  In addition, there will be counselors available to help you with class scheduling, transferring to a four-year university and referrals to on-campus student support services. For those who qualify and have the goal of transferring, there will also be the support services of the Math Engineering and Science Achievement (MESA) program, as well as other organizations such as the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), and the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
