Nursing Prerequisites |
| ADMISSION INFORMATION All students who complete the academic prerequisites are eligible for admission. Students may be admitted by transfer or challenge having met all basic entrance requirements and other designated criteria. The Nursing Program accepts a class of 50-60 first year students each fall semester. BASIC ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS Completion of the following PREREQUISITES with a minimum grade of "C" or better and a combined grade point average of 2.5 or higher is required. a. Biology 230, Human Anatomy, 4 semester units or equivalent. b. *Biology 235, Human Physiology, 4 semester units or equivalent. c. *Biology 205, Microbiology, 5 semester units or equivalent. *Must be completed within a seven-year period preceding qualifying date of eligibility. Qualifying date of eligibility refers to the date of filing completed application materials including official transcripts with the Nursing Admission's Advisor. Students may also be required to complete Biology 107 and Chemistry 100 and 100L. Refer to College Catalog for specific information. ADMISSION PROCEDURE
