The Title V Program assists Hispanic-Serving Institutions with improving and expanding their capacity to serve Hispanic and other low-income students. The Title V Grant Program is administered by the U.S. Department of Education

A Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) is defined as a non-profit institution that has at least 25% Hispanic full-time equivalent (FTE) enrollment, and of the Hispanic student enrollment at least 50% are low income.
