Meet With a University Advisor
Representatives from many universities visit the City College campus
every semester. See the Calendar of Events
for dates and times when the advisors will be here. Some advisors see
students on a walk-in basis while others take appointments. Please
contact the Transfer/Career Center in room A-111 or (619) 388-3722 to
see if an appointment is necessary. Visit the
Transfer Fair Many universities throughout California
and western U.S. are represented at the annual City College Transfer
Fair. The fair is usually held in October of each year. See the
Calendar of Events
for for this year's fair date and time.

Tour the Campus
Touring the campus is a great way to
connect to your university early. You not only learn your way around,
but learn about the many programs, services, clubs, teams, and
activities offered at the university.
Visit your
university's website to learn more about tours. The Transfer/Career
Center occasionally sponsors tours of some university campuses. See the
Calendar of Events
for tour locations, dates, and times. Attend a
University Orientation or Prospective Student Day Many
universities have an orientation day for new students or prospective
students. These usually include a campus-wide fair with many
departments, programs, and services represented.
