How To Read a Catalog
The Index, usually located in the back, lists
individual topics and what page to find them on. This is usually the
best place to start looking for information in the catalog.
Major information, including a description of
each major, course requirements, and course descriptions, can usually be
found in the middle of the catalog, and is usually listed alphabetically
by major or academic department.
Admission information, Academic Requirements,
Student Services programs, and other information about the
university is usually located in the front of the catalog.
University policies, including policies on
grading, course repetition, withdrawals, academic renewal, leave of
absence, etc. is sometimes found at the end of the catalog.
