Benefits:

  • Tutors receive hourly pay at three levels: entry-level, senior, and advanced tutor.
  • Tutoring allows you to assist others in their academic pursuits.
  • The center offers a flexible work schedule and convenient employment on- campus.
  • Tutoring reinforces your own learning.

Qualifications:

  • Available to participate in mandatory tutor training course-Education 100 (1.0) unit.
  • A current student (preferably a City College student) enrolled in a program of study, also having completed at least 12 units of college credit.
  • A grade of 'A' or 'B' in subject courses to be tutored.
  • Patience, flexibility, dependability, and good interpersonal and communication skills.
