Services Provided:
- Tutors provide FREE individual and
small group tutoring in almost all subject areas, except in English.
Tutors can make individual appointments or receive assistance on a
walk-in basis for some of the subjects that are in high demand. Some
of these subjects include mathematics, physics, chemistry,
accounting, biology, and computer science.
- One-hour academic skills workshops
are provided throughout the semester for both tutees and tutors.
Supervisors present these workshops and they are FREE. Some examples
include top note-taking techniques, reading tips, proven test-taking
strategies, effective communication with your instructors, secrets
to mastering your textbook, efficient ways to manage your time,
discovering your learning style, guaranteed ways to remember, and
eliminating test anxiety.
