101 Real Estate Principles

This course covers the fundamentals of the economics
of land ownership and use and the responsibility of
broker, owner and purchaser; terminology and
definitions and the varied vocational opportunities in
the general field of real estate are also covered.
Completion of this course is required prior to taking the
exam for the California Real Estate Salesperson's
License. This course also applies as an elective toward
the State's educational requirements for the broker's

105 Legal Aspects of Real Estate I

This course studies California Real Estate law with
emphasis on its practical application to legal problems
arising from real estate transactions, statutory

Attention is given to California real estate law. This

111 Introduction to USPAP

This course provides students with an understanding of
the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal
Practice (USPAP). Course content includes USPAP
definitions; the Appraisal Standards Board and its
activities; coverage and scope of USPAP; USPAP
Standards, Statements on Appraisal Standards, and
Advisory Opinions. Completion of this course will
satisfy the Office of Real Estate Appraisers (OREA) 15-
hour USPAP requirement as part of the 75 hours of
acceptable education for the Trainee License. (FT)

115 Real Estate Finance I

will include types of financing sources; loans and loan
