Excellent Opportunities for Men and Woman:
Both men and women are needed as substance abuse counselors. Great opportunities exist in this field for both sexes.

  Departmental Tips:
* The Program includes a 255-hour clinical field internship where students work in a community rehabilitation centers for a semester. Internships often result in jobs.
* Students should start their AODS certificate program by taking General Psychology (Psych 101) and Introduction to Sociology (Soc. 101).
* Full-time students can complete  the certificate program in one academic year (two semesters and a summer session).
