Child Care Workers and aides supervise, care for and teach infants and young children in schools and in private, community or government-run programs. Under the supervision of teachers or directors, they provide before and after school care and developmental education for infants and preschoolers. They also maintain discipline and supervise eating and rest periods.

Experience:
High school diploma, one-year minimum training in Childhood Development and Early Childhood Education (ECE); prior experience working with children preferred. For advanced positions: 2-3 years of Child Development courses and prior experience.
