Why City College: |
|
|
|
|
The City College Child Development program prepares students for jobs in
early childhood and family support programs and to teach in public and private
child development centers. The program also trains students as directors and
supervisors of child development centers and offers a transfer option to
four-year-institutions for students who plan to become elementary school
teachers or who wish to earn a bachelor's degree in Child Development. An
on-site child development center provides invaluable hands-on experience for
anyone interested in a career in child development.

pursue careers as elementary school teachers and administrators.
