Teacher Training Program
Upon successful completion of the Teacher Training Program, students will be eligible to take the California State Board Teacher's Training Examination in Cosmetology for licensing. Courses Required for the Major:

After completing 1,600 hours of training; all of the courses required for the Certificate of Achievement, Cosmetology; and passing the California State Board exam in cosmetology, students may continue their education while concurrently working in the salon or industry by enrolling in Cosmetology 152A and 152B for a maximum of 12 units and earning a specialized certificate in the Cosmetology Teacher Training Program.
