The City College Cosmetology
program offers instruction and practice in the fundamentals of
cosmetology, including skin, hair and nail care, salon management,
sales, and client and community relations. Classes include guest
speakers, salon visits, and field trips exploring the opportunities
available upon program completion.

Full-time day students can complete the
program in one year. |

All cosmetology courses involve lecture
plus intensive lab practice. |
|
|
Cosmetology students serve clients
Tuesday through Friday at the Cosmetology School. |
|
|
Uniforms and cosmetology practice kits are required for this program. |
|
|
Uniforms are as follows:
• White smock
• Black pants
• Black, closed-toe, rubber-soled shoes |
|
|
Students have the option of purchasing the
practice kit at the City College Bookstore or area beauty suppliers
with the approved list. |
