Electronic technicians help electronic engineers develop, manufacture and service electronic equipment and systems. They calibrate, test, repair and troubleshoot electronic components and circuit boards used in computers, office machines, musical equipment, solar energy devices and measuring and control devices for industry and medicine. They may also work with radio, television or communications equipment.

Experience:
Most employers require completion of a two-year or associate degree program at a community college.
